Windows Server 2008 and System Center Essentials 2007 

Microsoft recently announced the release of Windows Server 2008. How does this announcement affect the choices you need to make for your organization? Steve Deming is a Microsoft Senior Level Technology Specialist. Steve's background is in hardware design and engineering, but through hard work, that quickly progressed to software training. With almost thirty years of professional computer experience, he's spent many years working with businesses to identify and implement effective solutions.

In the seven years leading up to his joining Microsoft, Steve was the IT manager for a small business where he focused on Windows NT, 2000 and BackOffice training and had the opportunity to explore technology delivered training. Since joining Microsoft over six years ago, Steve's worked with the seminar team helping customers and partners understand the benefits of Microsoft technology, where that technology is heading in the future, and how to take advantage of the available Microsoft partner programs. His passion is helping people understand technology better so they can make educated decisions.

Outside of work, Steve volunteers behind the scenes with several community theater groups in the Washington, DC suburbs. In addition, he and his wife of 18 years share the hobbies of international travel, photography, and working in stained glass.
